Status bar, how come text is cut off?

I'm using status bar, I didn't find any mention of limitation to text
length, why is my text in status bar cut off?
(I'm using it in "text mode", so whole bar should display text, right now,
it's about 3/4 of bar, rest of text is cut off)

Look at the ShowPanels property. If that is set to false, then the status
bar will just show a single line of text and should not be limited in size.
If ShowPanels is True, then you have to make sure that the panel you
displaying text on is wide enough.

A2003. I have one form for which the status bar text property for any control does not work. It functions as expected for all other forms. I've copied the form over a couple of times and I still can't get the text to display on the status bar. Any ideas of what might suppress operation of status bar text? I've tried looking for some property, perhaps some VBA code and can't come up with anything that would result in this. Thanks in...

i have a little bit of issue getting the status bar to work properly. this is what happens now. when the program loaded, the status is "READY..." the code is inside the FORM LOAD. i also added the same code in another CLICK METHOD. everytime i click, the status got updated but the old "READY..." got moved up one line above. so, if i click 10 times, i got a stack of 10 rows of status bar.

hey, I know in the new browsers you're not able to change the value of the status bar. Which is fair enough, i understand why and agree. Although, i cant seem to get the value of the status bar. One used to be able to do window.status. But that doesnt seem to work. Wondered if someone could point me in the right direction.

I am having a problem getting the http.status of an xmlhttprequest. The request readystate has come back as readystate 4, but then it stops without confirming the http.status. Any help appreciated. <script type="text/javascript" > var postring = "?"; function string() { var first = document.numbers.first.value; var second = document.numbers.second.value; var third = document.numbers.third.value;

Hey all, have a weird issue here. It may be a bug, but thought I'd ask in here in case anyone has come across it (or wants to try to duplicate it). I have a very complicated form in which I'm inserting tooltip text, and status bar text information on all the objects in Design View, to help guide the end users. The layout is one tab control with a few pages populated with a bunch of combo boxes, list boxes, text boxes, and a few subforms...

I have a Windows App that is doing some work and then writing a "Now Processing..." line to the status line of the window as well as the Textbox on the form. But the problem is that the work is in another class from the main class. So it couldn't access the Status Line or textbox. So what we did was set them up as properties: string IStatusDisplay.Status

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
