hi, i hope someone can help.
Im pretty new to this php stuff and i have a slight problem. I have
this script (shown below) which writes data to a text file which is
then displayed on my front page. Trouble is after moving to an apache
server with php on a windows platform the script no longer works. It
worked fine on the unix platform. All it does now is just wipes the
text file and does not write anyhing else to it, any help would be...

each news site has a different layout, I think I need some

Hello,
I'm using a datagrid for a news module.
The datagrid only displays the news title, date and header. (this is
allready working)
Now I want to make the title clickable... if you click on it you will see
the complete news message.
When you see the complete news message you don't see the datagrid anymore.

Hi guys,
having a little trouble working out how i'm going to do this. At the
moment, users can log in and click a link to add news. This opens a
page to enter the message and submit it to the database. These are then
shown on the homepage.
Questions are how can i go about letting the users edit or delete the
messages? I think i need to add a link to the messages with the newsID
that the users can then click to select that message....

I want to create a news/stock/sport ticker for my desktop. I want to have
the ability to select my news source, (cnn, msnbc, etcs) sport source(espn,
nfl, nba, etc) and my stock source (nasdaq, nyse, etc) then once that
information is selected store it in a XML file, then have my ticker read
that XML file to determine what service to use. I would like this to show
the information for 10 seconds or so (just the headlines) then scroll UP...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
