problem in compiling lex.yy.c

hi,please help me to get rid of the following errors.minimum tell me what they mean.thank you...
after giving the command>> cc y.tab.c lex.yy.c << these error messages occured

lex.yy.c:1245: error: invalid lvalue in assignment
lex.yy.c:1245: error: invalid lvalue in increment
lex.yy.c:1245: error: invalid lvalue in increment
lex.yy.c: In function ‘yy_scan_bytes’:
lex.yy.c:1780: error: expected identifier or ‘(’ before numeric constant
lex.yy.c:1784: error: invalid lvalue in assignment

Those are C errors, not command shell errors, so this should probably be over in the C/C++ forum.

Your errors look like you're trying to set a const variable (or other immutable object) to something else for the lvalue ones. The other set looks like you have a parenthesis error or forgot to use an identifier for one of your variables. We'll need to see some code to give a more thorough explanation.
