Problem with logshipping, but no errors

1 New Member
Hi all,

I have windows 2003 SP2 servers running SQL 2005 Standard SP1.
I have configured 3 different databases on the primary server to ship it's logs to the secondary servers. The logshipping jobs of backing up the transaction log on the primary server runs fine. On the secondary server I can see that the transaction log files are being copied to the assigned share and that the jobs of restoring the databases on the secondary server are being run without any errors.
The problem is no data is being updated on the secondary servers database.
I test this by creating a row in one of my userdatabases and run the jobs manually (Even though they are scheduled). But as I told before the data does not appeare in the secondary servers database.

Unfortunately I cannot run the job as a query, as the job syntax is something like this:
--------------------------------------
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\sqllogship.exe" -Restore 7A0FB488-61E4-4172-A5A8-1DCDF61D4DD1 -server SeconarySrv
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The logfile for the jobs report this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Date 2007-08-16 14:45:00
Log Job History (LSRestore_primarySrv_DB_Name)

Step ID 1
Server SecondarySrv
Job Name LSRestore_PrimarySrv_DB_Name
Step Name Log shipping restore log job step.
Duration 00:00:03
Sql Severity 0
Sql Message ID 0
Operator Emailed
Operator Net sent
Operator Paged
Retries Attempted 0

Message
Executed as user: Domain\User. The step succeeded.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yet no data is being transfered to the secondary database.
Any ideas?
Thanx in advanced.
