Need Advice on Really Big Databases

12 New Member
I have 2000 tables to put in databases. Should I put them all in one database with multiple schemas, or should I put them in multiple databases (one per schema)?

I'm concerned about these issues:

Size of files for system admin tasks

Efficiency (developer and run time)

Foreign keys and adhoc query tool access
