Problem Accepting Null values

I have created a stored procedure and when i execute it in sql server
2005 it runs fine...the user can put in a parameter or none at all and
the corresponding results are returned.

@name varchar(20) = NULL

select person.address
from person
where person.name = @name

My problem comes when i try using the stored procedure in my report in
ms reporting services. When i run the report and try not entering a
value for the parameter i get an error saying that it is required that
i enter the parameter. Any ideas?

In Reporting Services, have you brought up the Report Parameters dialog
(through "Report" menu and "Report Parameters..." option, selected the
parameter and ticked the "Allow NULL Value" option?
