We have a production server and a bunch of development servers. The
Production server is located in a NOC (Network Operations Center)
facility and is physically unaccessible on a regular basis. There are
DTS packages on the production server which we'd like to pull down to
our Dev servers.
I was able to save the DTS package to a file and downloaded it to our
Dev Servers. But how in the world do I restore it?? I'm a fairly

I am running this command from a .bat file.
"C:\pathToAccess\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\pathToDatabase\db.mdb" /REPAIR
Database repairs as expected, then shows the messge:
"Successfully repaired the ..." and you have to click "Ok" to get rid
of the message so that the database can close.
How does one suppress this message, so that the database shuts down

Hi guys,
An uninstall of a previous version of Visual Studio, or anything (3rd party dev tools)else happen to unregister these (VS 2005) file extensions. I've tested the ˇ°Restore File Associationsˇ± button in Tools->Options->General, but no effect. Who know why? And then, how to restore these file associations without Repair the whole product?
Please help me, thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
Who knows how to restore VS 2k5 file associations, I've clicked Tools->General->"Restore File Associations" button but it doesn't work at all. I know Repair the whole product could fix it, but it costs too much time. So, if anyone could fix this issue please tell me asap.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hello,
Yesterday at 2pm I started a restore of a very small database. It is now 0745 on the next day and it is still in the RESTORING state. It can't take this long. Does anyone know what I can do??? I need to get this database back up, even if it is the version before the restore.
Any help ASAP would be appreciated!!

I have one database that cantain 10 primary file(.mdf and .ndf) and out of it 1 file get corruptted.
My backup shedule:
Full backup in sunday day at 7 PM.
And differential backup at every 12 hour.
Now i have to restore only one corrupted file.So what the best method to do it.

I have to write a program where we get the xml file incrementally. i.e the file is constantly updated in the form of xml feed. Thus the first chunk will not be a well formed xml document. However i need to parse the feeds regularly and display the parsed result.
How can this be achieved.?
