Hi,
I have a script.py that is converted to .exe using py2exe. From another
script I call script.exe and would like to be able to run this
script.exe in the background (as well as in console -- giving the user
some simple options). How can I make this happen?

This is backwards of what I usually want--normally if you have a
long-running ASP script, it's a good idea to check to see whether the client
is still connected so you can cancel execution.
However, I have a script that absolutely MUST finish one it's been
started--is there a way to cause the entire script to execute, even if the
client disconnects in the middle of the process? It doesn't matter if the

I have an ActiveX Script task in a DTS package which executes fine
within DTS.
However, if I run it as a sheduled job, it fails with a 'path not
found error'. I've cut the code down to the approriate problem and
posted it here, it just makes a simple text file with a name derived
from the current date and time and puts 'Hello World' in the file

I have two nightly scheduled jobs at a client site - one at 2:00am and the
other at 5:00am
Both jobs launch Access 2003, log into the default system workgroup, open a
Access .mdb that collects data, then shuts down.
Except for the scheduled time and file paths, the job settings are
identical. The machine is password-protected, so when each job was created

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
