Hi there...
I'm trying to link ADSI to my SQL database, however - error comes up:
"OLE DB provider SearchOLEDB.SearchDB.1 returned
DBPROP_STRUCTUREDSTORAGE without DBPROPVAL_OO_BLOB being supported]"
I should (as people suggested) add PROPERTY_INFO_ENTRY(OLEOBJECTS) to
DBPROP_DATASOURCEINFO , but I have no idea how to do it in MS-SQL .
Either using the Enterprise Manager or Query Analyzer.
Any idea?

Adding new row with default values.
In order to insert programmatically a new row into a database table, without
direct "INSERT INTO" SQL statement, I use the well-known DataTable.NewRow,
DataTable.Rows.Add and DataAdapter.Update member functions. Before adding
the new row object to the Rows collection, all of the row's fields that do
not accept NULL must be assigned, otherwise an exception is thrown. However,
I do not want to assign...

Good Afternoon,
New to .Net. I am trying to pass date/time values to a MS Access query depending on what value is selected from a dropdown list box (January, February, etc). I have declared those values as date datatypes and assigned their values with the # signs in front and back. When I click the submit I get the following error message:
Data type mismatch in criteria expression

This doesn't make any sense to me. I'm hoping some SQL guru out there knows
the answer.
I'm making a help desk type database system. There's only two tables, one
called TTickets and the other called TNotes. The Primay Key of TTickets is a
one to Many to the Foreign Key of the TNotes table.
In my VB code, I create a relation between the two tables so I can display
several notes (from TNotes) with a single entry in the TTickets table. So...

I am editing a pre-existing view.
This view is already bringing data from 40+ tables so I am to modify it
without screwing with anything else that is already in there.
I need to (left) join it with a new table that lists deposits and the
dates they are due. What I need is to print, for each record in the
view, the due date for the next deposit due and the total of all
payments that they will have made by the next due date.

Hi!
With VALUES you can do something like:
SELECT * FROM (VALUES ('A', 1), ('B', 2), ('C', 2)) AS TEMP(LETTER, NUMBER)
which will give you:
LETTER NUMBER
------ ------
A 1
B 2
C 2

I have a form with a few filters. Once the user clicks "search button", the code first evaluates my filters, then shows the query results in a List Box" titled backschedule.
I have a few text boxes below the list box that add sum values in the query columns using Nz() Function.
Example
"openpoqtytotal = openpoqtytotal + Nz(Forms!!backschedule.Column(4, i), 0)"
My Problem , The Nz() Function works fine for summing up all values in the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
