I have a text file of data in a file (add2db.txt) where the entries are
already entered on separate lines in the following form:
INSERT INTO `reviews` VALUES("", "Tony's", "Lunch", "Great atmosphere.

Any recommendations on how to generate an INSERT SQL script for the
records in a tab-delimietd text file? The limitation is that, while I
do have command-line mySQL access locally, I do not at my remote host,
so I will need to come up with a solution that I can run via something
like phpmyadmin, mysqlcc, or TOAD for mySQL. Any help would be
appreciated.

I'm trying to do multiple insert statements. The table looks like
this:
CREATE TABLE $table (CNTY_CNTRY_CD char(3),ST char(2),

I have a developer that is playing around with some SQL statements
using VB.NET. He has a test table in a SQL 2000 database, and he has
about 2000 generated INSERT statements.
When the 2000 INSERT statements are run in SQL query analyzer, all
2000 rows are added to the table. When he tries to send the 2000

I have to create a script to install a database, and one of the tables
has about 200 rows of static data... I dont want to have to manually
type in 200 insert statements, so is there a better way to do this? I
thought about maybe exporting the data into a CSV file and using some
sort of procedure to insert the records that way... Any advise?

When i taken the insert statemnmet through toad, it shows a error like insert statements fomat is not licensed. but i able to export the data as excel file,TAB,CSV format . Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
