All,
Working on a single machine (win2k) needing to do backups. Trying Backup
Table with the following syntax:
BACKUP TABLE tbldealers TO 'c:\mysql\backups'
BACKUP TABLE tbldealers TO /mysql/backups
I've tried with/without quotes, ticks, nothing except the path. I either
get error in syntax, or I do get 1 row in set, but there are no files in

Hello again all,
I have created an account in the particular database that I was trying
to backup Using PHPMYADMIN and I also created the same user account on
the OS side. I still got the same 1064 message afterwards. I am still
relatively new to Mysql and my adding user only works when I use

Hi,
Appreciated anyone who can help us with our problem. Our backup job
for ROUTT database has been failing for the last 4 days. It was
working fine for almost a year now. The only thing happened few days
before the problem started is the addition of more memory to the
server because we've been getting the low virtual memory error. There
are two databases in this server so we have two backup jobs everyday.
The other backup job runs...

Hello, i'm trying to transfer a DB2 database from a PC to another.
Following suggestion that Mr. Jan M. Nelken and Mr. Pierre Saint-Jacques

Hi,
I'm new to DB2 and have what may be a stupid question:
Is it possible to backup a DB2 UDB 7.x database on a Linux server and
restore it on a Win2k server (both running the same version of DB2)?
Backups on the Linux box seem to be a single file. Backups on the Windows
box seem to be a directory structure.

Hi,
I`m in the process of migrating a Access 2002 (Run in 2000 mode) from
Windows 98 to Win2K Server. It is a shared resource via a file share on
the 98 Server. Client systems are Win98 with the shared drive mounted
and the application run via the shared drive.
I have tried once before, but came across some file locking issues. I
thought i had addressed these file locking issues, but it came apparent
I hadn't when data started to get...

Hi,
I have(had) an old Win2k Server server with about 30 web site databases
(SQL 2000) that just went under due to hardware problems. Thankfully, I
have backups of all the databases plus the MDF and LDF files from the
hard drive.
I want to move all of these sites and their data to a newer server
(Win2003) running SQL2000.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
