While attempting to alleviate a persistent but not consistent problem
with my database operation (DB2) I coded the do...while loop around my
odbc_connect. When $dbConn is false the first time, the program never
returns. This problem repeatable with or without the @ on the
odbc_connect call. I would someone pointing out my stupidity. I did
RTFM, including the examples, and was no further enlightened. Thanks in
advance.

Hi,
My client has a product database od around 20000 items. And it is
updated every few days when he gets a catalog from the supplier.
It's supposed to work like this: if there already is a product in the
database with that ID (primary key), just UPDATE the price, and if
there is no product with that ID it should do an INSERT for that item.
Now I've tried it in several ways and I can't seem to get it to execute

Hi guys,
I am having a comprehension problem for which I cannot seem to find an
answer (by banging my head on my keyboard.)
I have the following code which yields no results. I expect one result to
come out of it as I am using a while loop on a cursor set to retrieve one
single tuple.

a 0 for revenue for months 7 - 12 (aka July through December) for each
of these cost centers for each payor type..Im getting a lot of repeats
and the concatenation field date always comes back as January 2003
