Hello there,
I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to
upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is
to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to
the image.
I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database,
but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a
variable which is then used in a SQL update...

I know how to send a file as an attachment when the file is in my file
system.
Now I want to send data as attachment without saving it to the
filesystem first.
Under UNIX shell what I do is uuencode and dump the output at the end
of the 'data' part of the message.

Hi,
I'am sending an xml string to a web service(which is written in c#)
using the microsoft web services behavior.
When I check this string from the web service I observed that some of
the charaters have been replaced.
e.g "<" is replaced with "%3C", ">" is replaced with "%3E"

I've built a small app that sends mail through our ISP's SMTP server but
when I try to send through my local exchange server I get CDO error. Does
webmail use SMTP or does it strictly rely on CDOmail. I don't want to use
the Outlook reference because outlook prompts each time program access it
and I have found a way to disable that. Can I use webmail with exchange?

Hello,
I need to send emails from Postgresql triggers.
I was able to do it with a 'plperlu' function, that calls the 'system'
perl function, that itself calls the 'mail' shell function.
Is is safe to do things like this? Is there a possible concurrent access
that could arise?

I have an Ecommerce application that uses mostly ASP and a bit of ASP.NET.
Monitoring the servers memory via SNMP every 5 minutes would indicate that
there is a memory leak somewhere within the application. Of course, the
vendor says its a "Microsoft IIS" issue and tells us to reboot the server
each day or kill the worker process for IIS.
We're currently rebooting our server at 4 AM each night.
