Where is SQL Server Enterprise Manager?

I'm a newbie trying to find the SQL Server Enterprise Manager so I can
create a database. I have installed SQL Server 2005 Express and SQL Server
Management Studio Express. On the SQL Server menu I see (1) Configuration
Tools and (2) SQL Server Management Studio Express. The SQL Server
Management Studio Express menu has 3 items on it. Where do I find the
Enterprise Manager?

Enterprise Manager is the management tool that used to be included with SQL
Server 7.0 and 2000. In 2005 Enterprise Manager has been replaced by
Management Studio.

Management Studio Express is a version of Management Studio with a limited
set of features.

Hi, I am having a hard time setting up an SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition instance for remote clients. The instance is running well and I can connect to it on the local computer. When I try connecting from another computer using Enterprise Manager with the server's IP as the instance name, I always get the usual "Specified SQL Server not found" error. I have used Enterprise Manager many times to connect to local and remote servers...

I have Visual Studio 2003 Professional and MS SQL Server 2000 installed on my laptop. For some reason, I can't create a new database with the Visual Studio Server Explorer. However, I can create (and delete) databases with the Enterprise Manager. The views from Server Explorer and...

I am working at a company that has been using MS SQL Server, and we are going to be switching over to postgresql next week. (Getting off of Windows will be a relief!) I am very familiar with SQL Server's "Enterprise Manager", which is their GUI for accessing the db. I have been acquainting myself with pgAdmin. There are a number of things that I really like about pgAdmin, but there are a few things that SQL Server Enterprise manager can...

Hi Everyone, Most of our MS SQL Servers are still running on SQL 2000, but being I will soon be upgrading my workstation to Vista Business I'd like to install MS SQL 2005 Enterprise Manager to manage them all. When I tried to install MS SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager on Vista, it gave me a message saying it's not compatible, so I'll have to use 2005 I guess. We have LOTS of DTS scripts on our SQL 2000 server, and will 2005 EM work with...

I am developing a ASP.NET application, with C# code-behind classes; with SQL Server 2000. All database access is made through stored procedures. I can insert, select and update in all tables from C# through stored procedures. The problem I am having is with delete operation. When a delete-purposed stored procedure executes, the row is gone when I do a select on that same table. But if I check table contents from SQL Server's Enterprise...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
