Hello i have a sql question, it looks like this. -
sQuery = "SELECT COUNT(ID) as CNT, datepart(hh,TimeStamp) FROM CS WHERE ID=? GROUP BY datepart(hh,TimeStamp)"
-
-
......
-
-
While oReader.Read()
-
-
strXML = strXML & "<set name='" & oReader.GetInt32(1) & "' value='" & oReader.GetInt32(0) & "' />"
-
-
End While
-
This does the job. But, i want to write out 24 of this -
"<set name='00' value='0' />"
-
"<set name='02' value='0' />"
-
"<set name='03' value='0' />"
-
"<set name='04' value='0' />"
-
-
and so on...
-
as you can see i group by hh then you may know what im looking for, i want to whrite out all 24 hours and when the reader has a row with a value i want to whrite this: -
"<set name='" & oReader.GetInt32(1) & "' value='" & oReader.GetInt32(0) & "' />"
-
I hope you understand my question and my english, if you dont please tell me.
Regards
Phred

Does anyone know of a way to execute sql code from a dynamically built
text field?
Before beginning, let me state that I know this db architecture is
built solely for frustration and I hope to make it better soon.
Unfortunately, there is never a non-crucial time in which we can do an
upgrade, so we are stuck for now.

There are multiple tables: students, courses, cross-reference

Hi,
I have written a program that reads certain rows from a table in a local JET
database file. I use SQL strings to select the rows that I want to read.
Everything works fine on my development computer and all the SQL strings in
the program return the desired rows from the database. but when I install
this program on another computer then some SQL strings return zero rows.
For example:
This SQL string returns rows on both computers:

i've been thrown into a pit with DB2 and have to start writing things such
as tables, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, etc. The online reference
is only so helpful. The two pdf manuals are only so helpful. Googling is
only so helpful.
So let's start with some simple SQL constructs, that i know so very well in
SQL Server, that seem to be like pulling teeth in DB2.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
