Need link between MS Excel and MS SQL Server 2000

7 New Member
Hi All,

I am not familiar with MS SQL Server. I have one MS Excel file with datas such as date, name, Address such that. My client given one software to type those datas. The typed datas are stored in one .mdf and one .ldf file. Finally I send this two database files to my client. Now what I need is, a link between MS excel file and .mdf database file. Is it possible? Or any other way is there to transfer data from MS Excel to MS SQL Server Master Database File.

Thank you very much. I import the excel file to my MS SQL Server 2000 .mdf file as per your information.(us ing Enterprice Manager)

Now I have one more doubt.

In that database there are so many tables present. User created tables and system tables. I will take care of that user created tables. I import the data from excel file to .mdf file instead of using my client's customized tool. If my client have chance to find, all the data had entered are import from excel instead of using customized tool?
If yes, where can he see that details?
Can I change that data too to my requirement?

Now the problem I'm having is whenever I try to open a workbook (of any format, i.e. 97/2000, 95, or xp, and of any size, and with or without macros), excel just hangs forever, and if I killed the excel application in task manager, my asp application will...

I budget for a Project in an Excel sheet as illustrated below. The months below are usually a 2 year period i.e. 24 months, though it could be over 24 months depending upon a Project. I then need to input this in an Access database, where I do a comparison with the Actual cost. The table “TblBudget” in Access is made of 4 fields, namely: (1) CostElement (2) CostCenter (3) Month (4) Amount$. At the moment this method is very cumbersome....

On Windows 2000 server for some reason, I keep getting an error("Bad variable type") when trying to first set the value to a cell. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
