Hi, I am trying to connect a MS SSIS package to an AS400/DB2 database,
and I experience problem when I hit the "Create Package" button in
the "Data Link properties window".
I have understood that the packages need to be created, before I can
run any SQL on the DB2 base via SSIS(?).

Hi all,
I am a newbie to SSIS.Need a solution to couple of issues I am
currently facing while developing ETL in SSIS
1) Under SSIS Package Folder I have defined mappings for 17 dimensions.
1st Dimension say Account has been Set up as a startup object.
Now when I run the package ir runs only my account dimension and loads
the target,other dimensions are not run at all!

Hi,
I need to call an SSIS package from ASP.NET 2.0 web page. First I triy to
call it directly from the asp.net page, as the following:
Dim app As New Application
Dim pack As Package = app.LoadPackage("C:\GetNorthwindEmployee.dtsx",
Nothing)
Dim result As DTSExecResult = pack.Execute()
This fails although the same code in Windows app works. I think it's a
security rights issue so I give the full control right to the dtsx file and

I'm looking to get SSIS to run database backup and restore tasks as

1. The "Backup Database Task" does not seem to allow parameterisation
- ie let you dynamically set which database is to get backed up, and

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
