I have a database with 2 users - 'dbo' and 'user1'.
Currently:
=> 'dbo' is tied to login - 'login1'
=> 'user1' is not tied to any login.
I want to change the login tied to the database users to:
=> 'dbo' tied to no login
=> 'user1' tied to 'login1'

There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. The Access security model seems
to be based around allowing the users to read/alter design of the form
(where reading includes editing the data)
I want to allow certain users (well, a member of a certain group) - and I'm
talking about mdw users and groups here to be able to edit (or not) data on
a form. But still be able to view the data even if they can't edit it, er,
them.

I'm trying to implement a licensing scheme. There are three types of
licenses:
Trial - good for 30 to 60 days
Interim - good for 1 year
Fully Paid - no expiration
Everything is working fine and I've even implemented a registration system
where the users can upgrade by just receiving a code from me.

I'm using PHP 4.4.4 with MySQL 5.0. I have a USERS table wher I store
a username and password for each user. I have a directory (containing
both HTML and PHP files) that I would like only logged in users to
access. What is the simplest scheme for password protecting thsi
directory? I would prefer not to touch every page and add access
