Hi all
I am using Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect, and for them most
part, everything has been working fine.
However, in the last few days, I have been experiencing a weird error,
and I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the cause,
and a cure.
When I have an existing solution with projects open, and I right-click
on a project, and choose Add -> New Class..., I get the following error:

Hello,
I am working on a large business application written mostly with VC++
and MFC. What I'm trying to do is accessing my database with the
existing functions in my c++ application using XML Web Services.
I decided to separate the function call from my Web Service. In order
to do this I create a project (unmanaged c++ as a static lib) where
all the functions to create a connection and request to my application
will be. Having VS.NET...

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you
have a sample of how to do this?

I have a strange situation and I have no idea how to solve this.
Its a Recruitment Search Page,in the Admin Page, for every button click
event the Admin Person has to create a checkbox on the users page. So
whenever the Admin person comes to know about the new category in the market
he will be adding as different Sub-Categories for example ABAP, BDC
etc..etc.. on every click event as Checkboxes. And these
controls(checkboxes) should remain...

I am building a VB.NET application in Visual Studio.NET 2003. I have an
existing project with code and forms I want to reuse in this project. If I
am copying a module file, then Add Existing Item works fine. However, if I
am copying a form, it pulls it in as a module file, not as a form. I have
tried adding the .resx file first, adding the .vb and .resx file at the
same time, or deleting the .resx file, nothing seems to work. I have a...

I have an existing database I created in sql server 2000 express that I connect to through the program I'm creating in c# visual studio express. However, I want to add the actual database to my program so that the person that installs it has their own personal database to work with (it doesn't need to be connected to any type of server). Is it possible to add the existing database to visual studio and not have to work through a connection?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
