Dear friends,
I am having a hard time understanding how to use a SELECT CASE in ASP. I
have used it in VB but never in ASP scripting.
Scenerio:
I have 2 textboxes on a form that I have to allow entry to one or the other
or Both at the same time. Now I tried to use an If ElseIf but it got too
hard to track, so now I am using a...

I'm struggling with a Case statement. The problem I has is with doing
>= I can use any value in there, but need to check if it's greater or
equal to 1. I'm sure I'm missing something but can't figure out what.
I've put the line below in case anyone has any suggestions. I've
limited it to the offending line, but can add more if needed.

When I loop through this function, it works fine until it hits End
Function - then it jumps to End Select. Very strange... This behavior
occurs when Case = 255. Any ideas why this is happening? Why doesn't the
function just end? Why the jump back in at End Select?
Thanks in advance.
Private Function GetRecurrenceType(r As Long,...

I'm confused as to how fallthrough is limited in switch. For example
the following works:
string switch_test = "a";
switch (switch_test)
{
case "a":
case "b":
case "c":
doSomething(a);

Hi,
I have a problem. I have written a SQL statement that has a nested
select case statement on the 'where' clause to condition the results.
--------------------------------------------------------
SELECT b.ISBN, b.Title, b.SmallImage, f.idForSale, count(f.idForSale)
FROM books b, forsale f

Is there a way to do ORDER BY with DESC inside a CASE statement? That
is, given more than one choice for an ORDER BY based on a CASE
statement, but only one of the choices will also use DESC (others rely
on the default of ASC).
For example:
While this works:
WITH A(A, B) AS (VALUES (1,2), (2,1), (3,4)) SELECT A, B FROM A ORDER

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
