SQL Write Access to Shared

1 New Member
How do I modify a SQL account to have write access to shared?

Background:
It is a two server environment. I am trying to access the web server from the SQL server. It prompts me for a username and password when I do the following command:

\\webservername \d$

How do I get access without this prompt?

Forgive me if I'm using the incorrect terminology.
Thanks.

EDIT:
I am using SQL Server 2000

My client has an MS Access database application on her local machine. I have full access to that in terms of changing the design. I've got a simple PHP/MySql application on shared hosting, so no direct access to the db server. I'd like to give her the facility to export the information in her local Access application to the shared PHP/MySql site. From one command button (or similar) in the Access application.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a good data structure that could be used to represent families of trees with shared sub-trees and copy-on-write semantics. On a very abstract level, I would like to have an API like this: Let Node be a suitably defined data structure. Then the following functions shall be supported:

Hello I was looking for a lighter web server than Apache, and installed Lighttpd on CentOS through yum. It works fine, but I now need to use SQLite from a PHP script. I seem to understand that it can either be access directly, or through the PDO interface. Can you confirm that the RPM that I used will only allow me to work through PDO, and not the SQLite library directly, and which is more recommended?

Ive written a small string resource building utility that I send out to our translators. I have a setup project for each language we support, which picks out a group of 12 english resx files plus their paired "foreign" resx for that language only and installs those resource files in a subdirectory somewhere. I'm trying to create a setup project in visual studio 2008. Ive got my Application Folder set up with my executable. Im now...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
