Getting a best selling brands list

1 New Member
I know this should be easy but for some reason I have hit a blank. I am basically trying to get a list of the best selling brands for a SQL database. I have three tables: Brand, Product, Orders

I need to select the top 40 selling brands and the total number of all that brands products sold.

This is what I have so far but it isn't counting the products sold properly.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT DISTINCT TOP (40) Brand_Name, products_Sold
  2. FROM Products
  3. INNER JOIN  Orders ON Products.ID = Orders.ProdID
  4. INNER JOIN  Brand ON Products.brandID = Brand.ID
  5. ORDER BY products_Sold DESC

In the context of LATEX, some Pythonista asked what the big successes of Lisp were. I think there were at least three *big* successes. a. orbitz.com web site uses Lisp for algorithms, etc. b. Yahoo store was originally written in Lisp. c. Emacs The issues with these will probably come up, so I might as well mention them myself (which will also make this a more balanced

Simple question... which is better to use for defining font sizes and why? px and em seem to be the leading candidates. I know what the general answer is going to be, but I'm hoping to ultimately get some good real world examples. Fire away! :) Regards, Peter Foti

I have a query that calculates the selling price of products on customer orders. Selling prices are calculated based on the average cost of the items when purchased. As I make new purchases, the product cost changes (as it should) to reflect the new average cost. However, the problem is that the selling price of previously sold items also change when new purchases are made. Keep in mind that I'm not storing any calculated values anywhere....

Hello, I have a large commerce app, hosted for several hundred companies (i.e. each "company" is a small business selling something through my site, independent of all the others). Each company has a unique ID (e.g. 12345), which is a primary key in the tables for products, customers, etc. That key also identifies company-specific customization of my site, such as text strings, various styles, etc.

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
