Hi all,
I'm working on the schema for a database that must represent data about stock
& bond funds over time. My connundrum is that, for any of several dimension
fields, including the fund name itself, the dimension may be represented in
different ways over time, and may split or combine from one period to the
next.
When querying from the database for an arbitrary time period, I need the data
to be rolled up to the smallest extent...

We have set up an Access database with tables x,y, & z where we would
like to have multiple people entering data into a table x. Each person
has an identical copy of the database on their PC's. When the person
is done entering the data into table x, we want them to e-mail their
database to one person who will combine the data from table x into a
single database.

Hello everyone,
I have a database where I collect shipment data from various tables.
However, I have a problem. Whenever I want to see shipping data for
orders that were set to ship on or before a certain date (in this case
January 30th) the database will return 2 rows for an order as you can
see below.

I'm new to access and am very wary of dates as I have limited
experience in their manipulation and I know if they're not done
properly things can turn ugly quickly.
I would like to use a calendar control to allow my users to enter a
date but I need them to enter a time as well. It doesn't look like the

I have query1 where I set a date range. Query2 is a crosstab query and is based on query1. I don't want the queries to be saved in the mdb but I do want them to be run in VBA using a querystring. If I only put query2 in the querystring it refers to query1 which is not available in the database. How can I combine the 2 queries into one querystring?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
