Hi All,
I am using Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager version 8.0 and have
created a view from a combination of 4 different tables. I would like
to be able to go into sql and open the view and select a row and
delete that row however this seem impossible right now. I am not sure
if it's possible to delete a row from a view?? Or could it be that
these tables are all interconnected and in order to delete a record
that is joined to one or more...

If i insert a record in A that record should be inserted in B.
If i delete a record in A that record should be deleted from B.

This question refers to a main form with a continuous form subform.
After an error occurs after entering several records in the subform, how can I
delete all the data in the main form and all the records in the subform? I have
tried undoing both the main form and the subform and I have tried deleting the
record in the main form.

hello all...
im trying to add a record to an sql db on ms sql server 2000, using vb.net.
seems to be working.. except for one thing, one of the columns in the
database is a bit datatype, and though i get no syntax errors when
compiling, i get an error indicated that the data would be truncated. the
field is login_status.
ive tried in quotes and not, giving it an integer variable with the number 1

Am in a small fix. my Trigger is updating all my entire table records , i don't want that, i want to update a column in the record that is updated by my application using a trigger that tracks updates on that table.
Is there a way i can track the updated record on my table and then update a field in that record through my TRIGGER?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
