Hi
We have an access app (front-end+backend) running on the company network. I
am trying to setup replication for laptop users who go into field and need
the data synched between their laptops and the server upon return to the
office. I am planning it this;
Move all access tables to sql server and then link the tables to access
front-end mdb app (using odbc?). Copy the same setup (access front end + sql
backend) onto each laptop....

So far it's the same as asp>>asp.net and VB>>VB.NET. In other words, after a
day of struggling it gets harder to make the business case, not easier.
Or have I got something completely wrong? Would someone please tell me that
it's a walk in the park? But, if that's so then what's the secret? Is there
a step-by-step that really, really, works?

hi.
i'min a situation where i might need to upgrade python. i have the current
version of python for FC3. i might need to have the version for FC4. i built
the version that's on FC4 from the python source RPM.
however, when i simply try to install the resulting RPM, the app gives me
dependency issues from apps that are dependent on the previous/current
version of python.

We plan to upgrade one of our systems from version 8.2 to version 9.1. This
system uses SQL replication, both capture and apply. As I read the
documentation there is no need to perform a migration of the replication
environment after upgrading. Is this a correct assumption?
