How do you execute an Oracle Stored Procedure from a SQL Server DTS package?

I've tried several different way to execute a oracle stored
procedure from a DTS package but to no avail.
I have a Linked Server setup which does bring back Oracle tables from the
server when I click on the Tables icon.

Here's my DTS statement:

exec omsd..OMS_TECO. SP_Callback_Upd ate_Pkg(116);

omsd is the linked server
oms_teco is the owner of the oracle stored procedure
SP_Callback_Upd ate_Pkg is the oracle stored procedure
(116) is the parameter passed to the oracle stored procedure

I put the above exec statement in a DTS Execute SQL Task using a Connection
that I tried using several OLE and ODBC Data Sources. I can't seem to find
the right combination.

Please Help!!!!!!!!

Why not connect directly to the Oracle server using an Oracle connection
object in the DTS package? That might be easier than going through a linked
server.

I've never tried using Oracle linked servers myself, but check out this post
(and the rest of the thread):

Is there a way to call an Oracle Procedure using the MS OLD DB Provider for Oracle object in a SQL Server 2000 DTS package? If it can't be done this way, is there another way to retrieve data from an Oracle database using an Oracle procedure to a SQL Server table? Also, can parameters be passed into Oracle from SQL Server via a procedure? Our Oracle DBA does NOT want to create views to enable SQL Server to access the data. Examples...

I wonder if anyone could offer some guidelines on the following problem? I need to transfer records from a SQL Server table to an 'equivalent' Oracle table; however if the primary key for any record already exists in the target table, the source record is skipped. I want this process to be executed via an Access front-end to the SQL Server.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
