Hi,
I keep getting the parser error, and I have no idea why. I've tried a
number of things including:
1)building/rebuilding about 100x
2)making sure all dll's are in the bin folder in the root of the web app
3)restarting IIS
4)recreating the virtual dir in IIS
5)playing with any and all settings I could find for the web app in IIS,
including changing permissions
6)recopying the machineconfig file from my asp v1.4... onto my local server

I could use some help. It seems a lot of people have problems getting
Parser Errors in their asp.net apps, but my problem is a bit
different:
We have a couple developers working on a project "Intranet", on a
development IIS Server. When I compile a webform it works fine for
several minutes. Then if I navigate to the aspx form say a half-hour
later, I get a parser error as shown below. Apparently this is common
if you forget to...

Hello -
In every project I try to compile and run, I'm getting a parser error on
global.asax (pasted below). I have rebuilt and recompiled, and this happens
on every project on my machine, no matter how simple or complex. For example
purposes, I even created a new app using all the defaults in VS.Net 2003
(WebApplication1, WebForm1) and dropped a label on WebForm1, did a Ctrl-F5
and still get the error. I have tried reinstalling the .NET...

Hi All!
I've been developing an ASP.Net 2.0 web application using the Visual
Studio 2005 tools. Currently datagrids on a page are filled with data
from a dataset (a .xsd file in the "project") that, in turn, gets the
data from MySql server.
Locally testing it on my PC (Windows XP SP2, FYI) it works and no
errors appear. However, when I upload it to the webserver (Windows 2003
Web Edit. Server) I get the a parser error on the dataset...

Using ASP.NET 3.5 and MySQL (thru DevArt MyDirect.NET)...
On the production server I get a "Parser Error" for every XSD dataset. It
works perfect on my dev machine. But, on the production server I get the
error.
To troubleshoot the issue I went back to my dev machine and changed all the
connectionstrings from localhost to the remote/production server db and made
sure everything works fine. I then uploaded all the files to the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
