Hi,
Can someone please tell me if there's a way to copy image files from
one server to another using ASP and FSO? Or perhaps some other way
to do it?
I'm trying to collect information on books, and want to have a picture
of the book associated with the description, but I want to be nice and
host the pictures myself, not just link to other people's pictures.
Is there a way to do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi,
I had a question about how to copy files from server to server on the
same LAN. Basically, i need to copy files from
"develope server" to the "test server", then eventually to the "production
server". But i don't know how to deal with
this. Do you have any example code or hint?
I appreciate in advance!

I've got the simple problem where I'd like to transfer
somewhat large files to my webserver via
http/webservice/something like that.
My question is what kinda limits have people been able to
hit? Is 500mb unreasonable or not. Client doesnt have to
be a typical webbrowser, so I could theoretically chunk it
up and send chunks to the server, when completed, re-
assemble and write file etc.

I'm using .net 1.1 trying to get a list of files in folder on the server.
The user would select the file they want to download from a DropDownList.
Can someone tell me how this should be done? I can't find the right class
or object to use. Is it the File class or the FolderBrowser? Stuck like
Chuck!!! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Hi have a .net web application using crystal reports. I ended up exporting
the reports to the server since I needed to dynamically change the default
name of each. Anyhow just wondering if there is any automatic cleanup
procedure I could impliment to delete files that are a week or more old? The
files are named for example 6_21_2007report1.pdf.
Thanks

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
