Sorting a list without using .sort()

1 New Member
I want to be able to sort a list without using the sort function.
I have this algorithm down:
BEGIN
make a copy of the list
make an empty result list
LOOP as long as the copylist isn't empty:
find the minimum value in the copylist, remove it
add that minval to the end of the resultlist
return the result list
END

but I can't seem to put into syntax for for python (3.3)

Is there a way to alternate table row colors without using the position() mod 2 trick? I'm in a series of nested xsl:for-each elements, about 3 deep, and I want to alternate the table row color all the way through. position() resets to 1 whenever the inner for-each loops around, of course. Example code: <xsl:for-each select="/games/game) = 1]"> <xsl:sort select="platform"/>

Hi, I am a beginner working on a database to manage clients, payroll, station assignments, etc. I have created a query which calculates age based on subtracting the date of birth from the current date. This works fine and date of birth is entered as month, day, year in standard short date format (99/99/0000;;). Here is the problem, I would also like to print out a list of all clients who have a birthday in any given month. Presently,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
