Hello
I have a page that mails my customers and it times out...... I need some way
to store it as .vbs and just kickstart it from my asp-page so it'll run in
background.
could you guys show me some code on how to do that? I dont have
visual-studio or anything like that so it's got to be "simple" without any
additional com+ programming or anything like that.

Is it possible to execute a C# Windows app from an ASPX (C#) web application.
My app runs over the Intranet and on one page I want to run a C# program
which does some things I can't do from the web.
The program runs (via a javascript) like this:
Page.RegisterStartupScript("xx","<script>windows.href=abc.exe</script>")
The program runs, but when I exit and return to the Web App, I get a CGI

- and if you can execute Python code from within a VBA script (how?)
- and if the application exposes its VBA scripting interface through
COM

I'm having trouble with PHP & PostgreSQL/OpenLDAP/Apache on Windows.
I've set this up countless times on BSD (piece of cake) but I'm trying
to do this on Windows now so that my developer can work on her local
machine.
Everything looks pretty good. OpenLDAP/cygwin works great. PostgreSQL
works great. Apache runs. PHP runs.

I'm using a Python script om my Wildfire XMPP server to connect to
external transports (for instantce MSN)
I configured the script as a windows service with 'srvany' and 'instrv"
and everything seems te work fine. The service starts with the system,
but as soon as an local useraccount (remote desktop) logs off on the

Can you please let me know the procedure to reach db2 command prompt
from a cygwin window (hence without using Start-> Run -> db2cmd
method). I'm planning to write shell scripts which accesses DB2

I have a web app running on the windows CE device. In one of the asp.net
pages - it has javascript code. That seems to have a memory leak.
When I run the web app - in about one hour, the app hangs. I looked at the
memory and it seems to be full.
I removed all the javascript code - and the app seems to be have no leaks.
As soon as I include my javascript code - the memory consumption gradually
