I am working with MSVC6 on Windows XP.
I have created an MSVC project called SHIP
I have a file SHIP.i with "%module SHIP" as the first line (file is below).
I run SHIP.i through SWIG 1.3.24 to obtain SHIP_wrap.cpp and SHIP.py; the
latter contains the line "import _SHIP".
I compile SHIP_wrap.cpp and a bunch of files into a DLL which I have the

Open-Office 2.0 bêta-2 français pour Windows (en fait, la 1.9.125 ) est
sortie.
Vous la trouverez là :
http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/2.0beta2rc/OOo_2.0beta2_Win32Intel_install_fr.zip
Je cite ce lien, car j'ai réussi à piloter Open-Office, depuis Python, avec
PyWin32.
Vous trouverez ci dessous le script expérimental (code "brut" et méchant ;
mais c'est la faisabilité qui importe ici).

Could anyone suggest an open source project that has particularly well
written Python? I am especially looking for code that people would
describe as "very Python-ic". (Not trying to start any kind of war -
just wanted some good examples of a well written Python app to read.)
Thanks!

P.S. - Sorry if this has been discussed at length before - I searched
the group before I posted, but didn't come up with what I was looking

I'm a compiler newbie and curious if Python grammar is able to
be parsed by a recursive descent parser or if it requires
a more powerful algorithm.

Hello community:
I post this because I could not find satisfactory answers in the posts
generated by this nice group.
I work on winXP. I have many little python applications in different
folders, each application can share or not other objects located in the
same or other folders.
The way I work to use these applications is:
1) For almost everyone, I execute a corresponding ".bat file" into

Best open source Python online chat apps?
I believe there are a few PHP online chat apps to allow people to have
conversation
via a web server but a Python one would soothe the soul.
Any available?
Thanks,

Hi there,
I don't know if such a thing has been already discussed, in which case
I'm sorry.
I was wondering if there's a place for python open source projects
that need help.
It thought it would be very nice having a place where developers could
submit "help requests" for their projects and let the users view them
and eventually join them if they want to.
Does someone knows if such a service already exist or not?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
