Hi,
I'm writing a php script which deals with 3 ORACLE databases.
This script is launch by a script shell on an linux machine like this :
/../php/bin/php ./MySript.php (PHP 4.3.3)
My script works fine and do all what I need.
But at the end of the execution, I can read "Segmentation Fault".
The segmentation fault appear at the end of my script execution,

I've read the posts here and VeriSign's KB articles, which pertain to the
seal not displaying in development mode. However, the seal still won't show
up on the .aspx production page, but it does work fine on our other .htm
pages! Talk about frustrating.
Here is the script (I put it in a table cell which is outside the default
form--should it be within the form? Within the table cell I've tried putting
it inside a DIV tag, and that didn't...

I'm having a strange problem with sealing virtual indexers.
Looks like a compiler error to me - or have I overlooked
some obscure statement in the specs?
I have two virtual indexers in the same class, one of them
by string, the other by int.
The weird thing is, if I seal one of them, I can't override the
other. Here is the code.

I want to inherit from Bitmap to add a property but I can't because it's
sealed. Is there any reason to seal a class?
Thanks,
Michael

We made some changes to our server yesterday, and ever since, every
single installation of WordPress that was on the server has stopped
running. Other PHP scripts still run fine, but WordPress is dead.
I logged into the server using ssh and looked the Apache error_log. The
only thing there was a whole bunch of lines like this:
child pid 27827 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)

Hi,
i was studying the virtual memory and the page fault concept in
particularly http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~rizos/CS2051/2001-02/lect11.pdf ]
Considering this concept and the two versions code given below. Assume
that the matrix "a" is stored row by row , and considering that the
program is given only 1024 frames, version A below leads to 1024*1024
page fault whereas version B leads to only 1024 Page Fault, thus run
faster.

I have put together this program that seems to do what I want without
error checking added yet. If I just run the program it produces a
segmentation fault. If I add the proper value say 43.56 it's fine. Does
anyone see what's wrong ? I have a c99 compiler. Thanks.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
int main ( int argc, char *argv ) {
FILE*fp;

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
