Has anybody ever experimented with something like an ABAP to PHP or
JSP translator?
Can you think of any elements missing for this purpose from PHP/JSP
compared to ABAP?
Do you think such a translator would be useful (e.g. to replace a
slow, insecure, and overpriced SAP system with an open source
solution)?

Does anybody know if there's any C99 to C89 translator out there,
either free
or commercial. I searched on Google but couldn't see it so far.
Thanks for any tips.

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone out there have a crack for the security on a Access 2000
and or Access 2002-2003 (they could even be the same) database.
I already have a crack for the database password on a Access 97
database, but it does not work on my later databases, and I'm not sure
how this works with Access 97 workgroup security.
Thank in advance.

My interest in this new topic was piqued by santosh's recent posting
concerning the subject of ``diagnostic message'' here in clc.
After reading the C99 standard (``n1256.pdf''), I am unclear if the
requirements of the ``translator'' are fulfilled if a translator does
nothing more than emit appropriate diagnostics -- without taking any
additional steps that could possibly lead to an executable program.
In short, does a tool such a...

Facing a design problem here and I'm not sure how to solve this. The
system consists of bi-directional communication between a subject
communicating with two (at least for now ) listeners. Message
translation needs to occur during communication. Each message
between subject and listener contains 30 words where each word is
16bits in size. The first word in each message is a header.
Communication between Subject and Listeners can...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
