python library to manipulate PALM documents ?

Hi all,

anybody knows a python equivalent of the perl PALM::Doc module (and
eventually other PALM::).

I have a e-book device wich reads mobi-pocket format (among others). I
have downloaded from a forum a set of perl scripts to convert HTML to
unencripted mobipocket format and vice-versa. It uses the PALM:: package.
I would attempt (for my convenience and for the fun of it) to make a
python equivalent of that. Hence my quest for a Palm::Doc equivalent.

My googling up to now resulted in nothing relevant. Keeping searching ...

I'm not sure if it is what you are after, but it seems to be, check this:
http://pypi.python.org/pypi/PalmDB/1.8.1

It could be. I read that mobipocket files may have extension .prc.

Hello all. I am involved in a project where we have a desire to improve our software testing tools, and I'm in charge of looking for solutions regarding the logging of our software (originating from embedded devices). Currently, we are using a heavyweight, proprietary log tool developed by another part of the company. This tool contains all "standard" logging functionality, but we also need to insert "debug" log points in the software of...

Hi guys, I'm a student/hobbyist programmer interested in creating a web project. It's nothing too complicated, I would like to get data from an RSS feed and store that into a database. I want my website to get the information from the database and display parts of it depending on the criteria I set. I just finished an OO programming class in Java and I thought it would be a good idea to do this in C# since ASP.NET makes web...

I will soon be purchasing my first PDA for use on my job and I would like to (in time) create a sync between the Access db that I use on my desktop and something for the pda. It would primarily be a list of contacts and daily time tracking on the job site. My first assumption would be that a "pockePC" running Windows Mobile would be the best choice since Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Access, however, from my research thus far, Microsoft does...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
