Problem:

I'm trying to create an executable jar file. I can do so as long as
I don't use the "package" statement in my source code. Once I put the
package statement in I can't execute the jar file.

i have a problem with integer subtraction in C.
printf("%d", c < (a - b));
a is got from a #define and is 0x80000000 and b is got from input and
is also 0x80000000.
c is ffffffff (-1).
Now, this should print 1 (true) but it prints 0!
If I modify this to
d = c < (a - b);

Hi,
Does anyone know why starting with VS.NET 2002 (and same with 2003) it is no
longer possible to browse to a directory that has "ept" as part of the path?
It worked fine in Vc 6.x. My initials and user name happen to be "ept", and
so I have directories with that name. It is no longer possible to browse to
any subfolder and therefore open any file under an "ept" directory. I can

Has anybody else encountered a problem when running your asp.net
applications off your localhost and having broken image links? The weird
thing is, the links aren't really broken. The reference is correct. And
what's weirder that than, it will only do it sporadically. I can refresh
the screen and those images that were once broken are now visible but some

Hi Everyone,
I am at my wit's end here. I have a combobox (combyQueryTitle) that I
need to use in order to select a query for my database project. Therefore,
I am using the comboQueryTitle_SelectedIndexChanged handler to, when a new
selection is made, update the query and refresh the display. The only
problem is that the program seems to inexplicably start with the
..selectedindex property at -1! This makes no sense to me. ...

I have a user of a web application written in Java/JSP that is unable
to login to the site simply because certain links on the page do not
run when they are clicked. Other popups using Javascript on the same
page work correctly.
It appears to be isolated to 1-2 machines in a particular network. I

Ok...this seems to be treading into some really esoteric areas of c++.
I will do my best to explain this issue, but I don't fully understand
what is happening myself. I am hoping that the problem comes down to
standard c++ stuff and is not specific to Mac OS X compiler&linker.
