I coded this logic in global variable foo_cnt
2)
is there a way to see the types of all data/function members of a class?
dir(cls) returns a list of strings (of members) so it's logical that
type(tmp.i) fails ...

What is the rationale behind the decision not to allow abstract static class
members? It doesn't seem like it's a logically contradictory concept, or
that the implementation would be difficult or near-impossible. It seems like
it would be useful. In fact, there's a place in my code that I could make
good use of it. So why not?

Why can't I have a static abstract method in C#?
My intention is to have a class-level method that returns a string to
supply information about inherited classes, and it is natural to make this
static so that I don't need an instance in order to call it. However,
because my class model is using a common base class, I need to make it
abstract too, so that inherited classes are forced to implement it.

I am trying to build a little Documentation search site, using WebMatrix,
Access, and Index Server.
I am placing my documentation in individual pages, as Index Server
doesn't seem to want to index data that WILL be in the page, when built.
It only wants to index what is in the static page.
However, I want to access certian data about the document that I have
stored in the Access database (even though it won't be indexed).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
