hi all,
My requirement is to generate xl reports throu Asp.Net without installing
xl on web server computer.
i am using Response object and wrtifile method as below. i dont know
whether it is correct, but giving error says " file is accessed by other
process cannot access"
I have some logic inbetween and write the info using response.write in to
html format Ex: Response.Write("<td>" & "client_no" & "</td>").

component though asp.net web form. i am using visual basic for coding.
my requirement is to generate xl reports without installig XL on that web
server machine.
i will fetch data from stored procedures and that data to be sent to each
cells in to XL sheet without opening the XL (also there will be no
installation of XL).

hi. i have to import data from xl into an existing access table. can someone
please help me? im not sure about what sort of connection string to use for
XL (im ok with the access part). also, is there a row count function in XL?

I am looking for a code that enables me to open another excel spread sheet while i am in my XL form i have this code - Workbooks.Open Filename:= "OtherFilename.xls" - which opens up the XL spread sheet that i need however my form sits ontop of the xl spread sheet and i am unable to do anything to the spread sheet in the back ground.
I need a code which will bring up the other spread sheet and allow me to use it without closing my form?????

I need to check that a Range name exists in an XL worksheet so I can
import data into it from Access VB code.
( I have found it is easiest to do a Transferspreadsheet to a named
range called "data"
eg.

I've been trying to find a reasonable way to sort a collection of clothing items by size but google isn't helping my out very much. I know this has to have been done before. I've seen an example written in Python but I don't do Python and the syntax is far too abstract to even sit and try to pick it apart.

I have this code that takes ~3 Mins to run while automating an XL
Instance (XL 2003). There are 558 Rows and 15 Columns in rngSelection.
So it is adding Named ranges on 8,000+ Cells. Is this just as good as
it's going to get?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
