Tix.Grid patch

Hi all,

I just wrote a wrapper for the Tix.Grid widget
(http://www.8ung.at/klappnase/TixGrid/TixGrid.html); I guess I should
have searched before, because now I found this has already been done
for Python2.5 . However it looks like my version offers some more
functionality (and the ScrolledGrid in Python2.5 seems to be broken)
than the one I saw at
http://svn.python.org/view/python/tr...6691&view=auto
, so I thought I could contribute a patch.
My apologies if this is a dumb question, but I don't know how to do
that.

Any hints are appreciated

Michael

if you'd spent enough time clicking around on python.org, you might have ended
up on this page:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?grou...70&atid=305470

(it's not obvious how to get there, so it's probably easiest if you just click on the
above link ;-)

Back in March I submitted a patch for cgi.py to sourceforge to fix a problem with the handling of an invalid REQUEST_METHOD. I thought I followed all the steps to properly submit the bug and patch but the patch is still sitting there in limbo. This is the first patch I have submitted for Python, did I miss a step in the patch process? What else needs to be done?

Hi folks, Is there any tool out there can do: 1) compare two word documents, one is a old file, the other is a newer version of the same file. 2) generate a patch, the patch shows the differce between the two files, the patch suppose to be very small. 3) (Mail the patch to other site of the company) ok, we can do this. 3) (in other site) Update the old file with the patch, and recreate the newer version file.

I'm using a DataList inside a Grid Layout Panel (which ends up being a <DIV>) so that I can use the overflow:scroll property. This is working fine, except for one anomaly: If there aren't enough items to cause an overflow, and scrolling, they get spaced evenly inside the <DIV>. So, one item appears in the middle of the area, two spread out with space on top, between, and bottom, etc. Finally, after adding enough to fill the area, the...

Hi, I know that pyExelerator is the supported project now, but I can't use it because I'd need it to generate files from a web platform. Since I can not save a file to a file-like object, I have to use pyXLWriter. The problems are: 1- how to turn off/on the grid lines of each sheet? 2- I tried to build a simple 'if' formula but couldn't. Is it my problem or pyXLWriter's problem? If the former, is it possible to post

This is such a long posting that I've broken it out into sections. Note that while developing this patch I discovered a Subtle Bug in CPython, which I have discussed in its own section below. ____________ THE OVERVIEW I don't remember where I picked it up, but I remember reading years ago that the simple, obvious Python approach for string concatenation: x = "a" + "b"

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
