I have created a somewhat complicated GUI which updates itself every
1/2 second by checking on several non-blocking sockets for data and
modifying StringVars and/or canvas graphs when new information is
present.
The basic structure is:
======
from Tkinter import *
top=Tk()

Hallo,
Does anyone have a (simple?) javascript code for me to
prevent that people take the photo's of my website while
they use the right mouse button.
I know that there are ways around this and people can
still get the picture, but in that case it is much less easier
and only the handy people can get it then. That already
helps.

I am having trouble allowing a user to drag an item, whilst also allowing
them to click the item. I am using mousedown, mousemove and mouseup. It
works if I click the button carefully, but if there is any mouse movement,
then it is interpreted as a drag, and the click does not work. What I want
is a way to only do the drag if the mouse movement is above a threshold. Is
this possible?
Here is the basic code:

Hello. My 80+ year old father has recently decided to get his first
computer. Due to his age (and I suspect lack of playing pong as a child
like I did) he lacks the manual dexterity to use a mouse well. He is
frequently missing the left mouse button and hitting the right, or less
often the middle (wheel) buttons. While he is very slowly getting better
with practice, the frustration level is high for him as a result of this
(he gets very...

How can I tell a mouse right clicks over a listview item that's in a
container panel. I only want to display a popup menu if the user right click
the mouse over an item on the Listview. I don't not want to display this
menu if a node selected on the listview but user right click over the empty
space of the panel that contain the listview.
The problem here is when I use the Listview's Click Event, I don't have ways
to verify if the...

I have created a drag and drop scheduler within Microsoft access. One
of our bug testers was doing some testing and noticed that the drag
and drop gets messed up if they press both the left and right mouse
buttons simultaneously. The code to handle the drag and drop is
already complicated enough without taking this scenario into account.
Is it possible to completely disable the right mouse button when this
particular form is loaded? Any...

FAQ Topic - How do I disable the right mouse button?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The oncontextmenu intrinsic event is the only safe and reliable
method. Of the other approaches often presented, most depend on
an alert box interrupting the process and rarely work. Note that
oncontextmenu is a non-standard event and is not...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
