I am experiencing problems when installing PHP5/MYSQL.
I did
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --disable-libxml
--with-zlib-dir=/home/frank/zlib-1.2.2
make
make install
The build process did not report any errors.

I have tried many avenues (web search, borland website, libxml
website) before deciding to post here.
I'm trying to install libxml2 on windows ME to work with my Borland
C++ 5 Compiler (command line).
Read through the installation guides from xmlsoft.org.

Sorry, I realized that the import zlib was not executed from my
(working) service.
So here is the question: why can't I use zlib from a win32 service? Is
there any way to make it working?

Does anyone have a successful implementaion of the zlib.dll in VB. Net they
can show me. I'm writting a class encaplsulating zlib functionality and I
keep getting a System.NullReferenceException (Object reference not set to an
instance of an object) when I try to call the dll's compress function.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
