Hello everyone,
I know how to add images and icons etc to dll file.
What I would like to know is there is a way to add those icons on the forms
during the run time from the dll or to reference it to the dll during the
design time, then when I compile the project and install it, then all the
images still inside the dll file. not to be...

I am using Jserv on apache and I cannot instantiate from a class file in
JSP.
I was using servlets before and any class I put in the same directory (or
other directories indicated with a classpath in the Jservproperties file)
would work fine. But JSP files (which are in a different directory) cannot
seem to find my classes no matter where I...

This is quite frustrating! In the documents, and in the newsgroups, I see
simple instructions like the following:

I am developing a windows application with Visual Studio 2003 using C#. The
application is complete so naturally I went to create a setup package. I
added a setup project to the solution and I went through the appropriate
steps in attaching the solution dependencies. After completing the setup
package, I attempted to install the application on...

have an application that contains about 32 mdb files that are connected via
VBA code but not specifically linked together. Some are data files and others
are actual application programs. I just purchased the Access Developer

I have a Python (2.3.x) interpreter running embedded in a C++
application on a host machine. I would like to run a specific package
on that host machine (numpy). I have managed to compile
(cross-compile) the library, so that I have the python modules and the
compiled .so files. I am relatively sure that these would import
normally in a...

I wrote a simple VB.NET application that imports and edits CSV files.
Now I’d like to “lock” the raw (pre-import) CSV files so these cannot be
opened separately. It is not high-sensitive data, I just don’t want folks to
peek in the files.
So time-consuming encryption is not necessary, just a simple
password-to-open that I can...

VB2005 Express.
I am developing a solution that involves a windows forms application and a
number of class library projects (DLLs). Some of the DLLs require extra data
files or third party dlls. I can include additional non-source files in my
projects, but these are not always automatically included when I publish the
application. It seems...

Hi,
I am trying to get a small group of volunteers together to create
Windows binaries for any Python extension developer that needs them,
much like the package/extension builders who volunteer their time to
create Linux RPMs.
The main thing I need are people willing to test the binaries to make
sure the extension is stable. This would...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
