I've posted this question on the mod_python mailing list but didn't get
much response, so I thought I'd post it here.
(My first attempt connected to an unrelated thread..sorry.
Note-to-self:-must-get-more-coffee-before-posting-)
It seems to me that for each path element in a URI a mod_python handler
will be invoked. This applies to PythonAuthenHandler,
PythonHeaderParserHandler and so on.

I can't figure out how to build this type of program using the
publisher handler. I have the following connected to the program
SetHandler python-program
PythonHandler mod_python.publisher
PythonDebug On
But what I would like to do would be have a german word as the
parameter in the HTTP request and have the english world printed out on
the screen. Yes this will be a small dictionary but I just want to be
able to understand how to...

I was wondering if I could use relative paths in a mod_python script. At
the moment I am defining a constant string
"/path/to/dir/where/script/resides". The problem with this is that when
I move the script including files I use to get metadata I have to change
this variable. The same problem occurs when I distribute the script; the
person using it will first have to modify it, which is not what I want. Is
it possible that a mod_python...

Simple problem:
When I define a funtion the way you would with the publisher handler
(without using psp), all works as expected. However when I define a
publisher-like function and instantiate a PSP object in it ( as
suggested on
http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/python/2004/02/26/python_server_pages.html
) mod_python seems to fail to tell the browser which content-type the
document has. The output is what I expect it to be, but instead of...

Has anyone seen the following error while starting httpd:
Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 54 of
/usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: API module structure
`python_module' in file /usr/local/apache/modules/mod_python.so is
garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO
I am running python2.5 with apache server 2.2.3, using
mod_python-3.2.10
I ran mod_python configure ----with-apxs= /usr/local/apache/bin/apxs

In my web application I use Apache and mod_python.
I allow users to upload huge files( via HTTP FORM , using POST method)
I would like to store the file directly on a hard disk and not to
upload the WHOLE huge file into server's memory first.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thank you

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
