Hi,
I am looking for the best way to use Python to get a web page, look for some
particular fields on a form, fill in the fields and submit the form but I
have no idea where to start - any pointers appreciated

Really? The second link is for ClientForm, the description of which reads:
"ClientForm is a Python module for handling HTML forms on the client side,
useful for parsing HTML forms, filling them in and returning the completed
forms to the server."
That seems to exactly fulfil your requirements. Are you sure you really

Yep definately looked, but overlooked that, wasnt really looking for a
premade routine to do it all but I can learn from that! thanks for pointing

I have tried several different methods of getting a datagrid to fill with
information. Below is the code I'm now using. When viewed in the browser and
the text box filled with a parameter value (i.e. CA for Calif), the datagrids
header is displayed when the button is clicked, but no data is displayed.

MSN has a toolbar that has a Form Fill function that will try to fill form
fields on forms when they come up.
The problem is that it causes problems with some forms and functions.
I found this out this weekend. If you have your address set up in your Form
Fill function, any form that has these fields (name, address, city, phone
etc) will automatically be filled in.

I am playing a Windows Media File which is protected by their DRM. I want

web - this is a desktop app that has an embedded player or using

Hi,
I have not had a good answer to this question.
I put a menustrip on a form and so it is a main menu in affect.
Now I put a webbrowser control on the form and set it dock fill.
Of course what happens is the menu covers the top of the webbrowser control
which i do not want.
