Save the Canvas!

I'd like to be able to save a Tkinter Canvas in a format other than
postscript (preferably gif). Is there a tool out there for
accomplishing that? Any help will be much appreciated.

Peace,
STM

Cheers,

Neil

Hi, I'm trying to put an Tkinter.Entry of fixed size onto a specific location on a canvas using the place manager. Something like: slider.drawBackground(); slider.back = new ScreenArea( left, top, width, height ); Next, draw the pointer. When the user slides the slider, I'd like to restore the saved background and then redraw the pointer. Any way...
