Where can I find sample "beginner" programs to study?

I'm trying to learn Python (and programming), and I'm wondering if there are
any places where I can find small, simple programs to study.

Thanks.

Todd,
Have you been here:

http://www.python.org/doc/

and tried the tutorial or beginners guide?
The tutorial has all the pieces you use most
often.

Great book - I like the way that unlike other books, AC++ explains as much as possible about every piece of code discussed, so I'm not left thinking, "well...OK... I get line 12, but I wonder what the rest of it means...". Still, I have some questions, that are frustrating me:- Grateful for any comments. 1. What is the difference between #include <iostream> // (or any include file) which is used in this

But I can't seem to find the answer. The question is how do you reverse the words in a string? Or how do you reverse the numbers listed in a string? The example is usually something like: Turn this string "1,2,3,4,..." Into "...4,3,2,1" This one seems hard enough let alone trying to turn a string of space-seperated words around(is that even possible? a trick question

Hello, (sorry for my English...) Could you help me with a SQL Server 2005 problem? I had installed SQL Server 2005 and then I tried to setup some application using SQL Server. Unfortunatelly setup fails because the application cannot logon to SQL Server in SQL Server Authentication mode (user 'sa', password 'sa'). I checked Server Management Studio Express: I have sa/sa account (because I've prepared it), but although I can logon in...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
