problems buildin python interface to fuse

I'm trying to build the python interface to fuse and this is my first
time using python. I'm getting the following errors

[jh@localhost ~/build/fuse-python]# python setup.py build
running build
running build_py
running build_ext

I was originally receiving the following error...

[jh@localhost ~/build/fuse-python]# python setup.py build
running build
running build_py
running build_ext
error: invalid Python installation: unable to open
/usr/lib/python2.3/config/Makefile (No such file or directory)

but I solved this by simply copying the included makefile to the
python2.3/config directory...

Thanks,

The term "mock filesystem" refers to code allowing unit or acceptance tests to create, read and write, and manipulate in other ways "virtual" files, without any actual disk access. Everything is held in memory and therefore fast, without risk of damaging real files, and with none of the messiness of leftover files after testing. Googling the archives and the web suggests that only I and Remy Blank have done much along these lines. I...

I am trying to compile as much code in 64 bit mode as possible to test the 64 bit version of lcc-win. The problem appears now that size_t is now 64 bits. Fine. It has to be since there are objects that are more than 4GB long. The problem is, when you have in thousands of places

I'm running some stupid little script that's supposed to alert me if some fuse link exists. All i do is read in /proc/mounts and look to match the fuse mount command in question, i'm doing this: output = open("/www/htdocs/hatProductAdd/add/output.txt", "a") for line in fileinput.input(): output.write(line) if line == 'sshfs#root@website.com:/usr/home/sites/www.website.com/ web/PICTURES/django...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
