Group for Plone Users

I have just started tinkering with Plone and, as is to be expected,
I've run into some issues. What I want to know is: does anybody know if
there's a group for Plone users as opposed to Python programmers or
Zope administrators?

There are newsgroups hosted at Gmane. Look at
http://plone.org/documentation/lists

After a hiatus, a new group for Python, Zope, and Plone programmers in DC is forming. Our goal is to network and further educate ourselves on programming in Python. While not exclusively for Zope or Plone developers, we expect there to be a focus for these technologies. We have a formation meeting scheduled: Thursday, July 8th 7:00pm-9:00pm Porter Novelli Board Room, 1909 K Street NW.

Hello Can some one explain what are the differences between "plone" and "Apache + mod_python"? From plone.org. It says "Plone is powerful and flexible. It is ideal as an intranet and extranet server" does this mean if I use "plone" I do not need to install "Apache + mod_python"? Thanks in advance!

This month's talk: 10 coolest things about Plone, Andy McKay This talk was originally supposed to be: "137 cool things about Plone" but we negotiated Andy down to just ten. But these ten things are not just cool: they are the coolest. Plone enthusiasts and hecklers equally welcome. The group meets monthly (first Tuesday of each month) at 7pm. It is hosted by ActiveState ("a division of Sophos") at 580 Granville St., Vancouver

I'm conducting some research about CMS systems and I have limited the choices to several that fit my needs. Many of them have live demos, so I can try and see, but I didn't find such for Plone. Is there one? I also didn't see one very important feature - personalization. I'm not sure if I am using the correct term but I my company we call personalization the ability of the site to show different content depending to the user who has...

I'm not sure if this is the right venue for Plone questions, if not, could someone ref me to a better one? The discussion groups on the plone site are mailing lists and I'd rather not subscribe quite yet. Does plone support distinct sets of users? That is, on a public website running plone, can it be configured such that when a user logs in they are allowed access to a subgroup's main page, get the subgroup's newsletter as well as the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
