Hello, can anyone help me, I am new to PHP.
I am trying to set up the Apache Server for PHP (in Windows XP), but when I
ad the line:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php-4.2.3-Win32/sapi/php4apache2.dll
(in httpd.conf), then the Apache Server refuces to start (I get "The
requested operation has failed" msg).

How can I combine SSI, CGI, and PHP in Apache 2.x? I keep reading that

1. Either pull the page from a file or generate it with a CGI program

I have installed Apache apache_2.0.52-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi and
PHP php-4.3.10-Win32 on windows 2000 professional . I also get success
in installeing both of them , but when i am trying to run apache
C:/localhost on my mozilla or internet explorer browser , i am not able
to get the default page, i don't know why its not working. I am a new
learner of PHP and for the learning process i want to download it as

Hi,
I'm trying to get mod_python working on my web server, but I'm running
into problems, possibly due to having virtual hosts configured.
I'm no apache guru (newbie is more accurate!) so I could easily be doing
something wrong. The apache configuration is further complicated by
having an include file for each virtual host, so the config isn't
actually *in* the main apache conf file!

I'm using PHP 4.2.2 and Apache 2.0.4.0. A script running on a virtual
host had an endless loop in it that brought Apache to its knees. I have
max_execution_time=90
and memory_limit=32M
to handle larger file uploads and Gallery stuff (thumbnail processing)
but the script goes way past 90 seconds. Safe mode is off but the
script doesn't override it by using set_time_limit(). I have to restart

I've recently installed apache on a new computer, and cannot figure out why my site will not process any includes. (it was working on my old one) There are no errors on the page such as "include not found", rather much of the page is blank where the included menus, etc would be, and the CSS is not attached.
