TcpClient close() method socket leak
when i use TcpClient to open a connection, send data and close the TcpClient
with myTcpClientInstance.Close(); it takes 60 seconds for the actual socket
on the client machine to close per my network app the computer fills up w/
thousands of these

Hello.
I'm using the asyncore and _chat modules to create a network server. I
also have, running in a separate thread(s), a "producer" which needs to
"push" data onto the network connection(s). (This is all for a
multi-player game server, so the threads would be individual games,
that need to update the players when new events happen in the game)
I currently have a module level list of async_chat instances, which the
thread then reads...

Hi there,
I am writing an application that requires a client-server interaction.
Looking up on the internet and working on it I came up with something
like this:
a class ADFSServer that takes inbound connections and dispatches them
to ADFSReceiver.
The connection is always initialized by ADFSSender.

Socket created with constructor prarmeters Internetwork, Stream and TCP
everything else is left at the default parameters and options except linger
may be changed as I find appropriate.
I am using the socket asynchronously by calling the BeingSend and
BeginReceive calls. I would like to be able to call shutdown and close
asynchronously if possible.

it is very strange for me that a simple event of closing socket that was in
the the winsock object of vb6 ,
i didn't found yet in the vb.net
the only way i found is to try to send something to the socket and if i got
error then the socket is closed.
there must be a way to get this event without trying to send something ,
since it is in the lower level

I can't manage with asynchronous socket communication. :(
I wrote a class CSocket.cs.
This class is taking care of sending strings to LED display. This
display is actually communicating via serial port and serial/ethernet
converter (MOXA NE-4100T) with TCP server. So communication is in that
