I am attempting to write a curses-based program. I would like to use
the default terminal background rather than a black one (a significant
difference with transluscent terminals, regardless of one's opinion of
them).
It appears that in the C ncurses interface, this is accomplished via
use_default_colors() and assume_default_colors(). However, these
functions don't seem to have parallels in the python binding. Is there

Hello;
I'm writing a program with curses in python and having a bit of trouble
understanding how to use unittest. So far, I have used testing
successfully -- as long as the report goes to stdout (or does unittest
write to stderr?)
The curses part of the program seems to affect unittest's writing of the
report. The screen is not what the report expects, so a lot of
information is in the wrong place after the program exits. (I actually...

The appended program freaks python 2.2 & 2.3 completely out. To
reproduce the wierdness: i) copy the source to a file called
consarn.py ii) $ python consarn.py; iii) the program is now doing a
getch(); iv) hit a key; v) the program locks up, the interptreter is
now munching on the CPU; vi) kill the interpreter from another shell;
vii) scratch head and wonder why neither of the mutually exclusive
clauses in the _io() member function...

which data control allows me to use a cell doubleClick event?
I have time cells (something like Outlook calendar) and when user double
click on one cell I would like to redirect to other window where he could
insert events for that time. Then he go back to that page and see event in
that cell.

I have a routine that is called on Page_Init. It retrieves folder records
from a database which I display as Link Buttons in a table cell. I set the
table cell's bgcolor to a default color (say black for example). I am
dynamically creating the LinkButton controls and adding them into the table
cell and I've also hooked up an event handler for each LinkButton's Click
event. This all works fine.
